Kabat, Schertzer, De La Torre, Taraboulos and Co. plans to merge with SI Gordon & Co. , a 35-year-old CPA firm that serves the audit, accounting and tax-services needs of labor unions and employee benefit plans.
Under the terms of the merger, SI Gordon’s staff of CPAs and support professionals will continue to work from their existing office, located at 11555 Heron Bay Blvd., in Coral Springs, Fla. They will become employees of KSDT, and founder Steve Gordon, CPA, MST, will become a partner with the firm.
“This merger brings to our firm specialized expertise in the complex areas of organized labor and employee benefits plans and allows us to extend our services north to a larger base of potential clients in Broward and southern Palm Beach County,” said Jeffrey Taraboulos, managing partner with KSDT. “We welcome Steve’s deep experience as a valued asset to our team and our client’s businesses.”
