Kaufman, Rossin Expands into Southwest Florida

Miami-based Kaufman, Rossin & Co. has opened new offices in Fort Myers and Naples, bringing its accounting, audit, tax and consulting services to Florida's Southwest coast.

The two new offices will officially open on July 17 and Lee A. Meyers will serve as the practice leader for both offices. Managers Russell Panks and Carl Richie will be based on the West Coast, supported by a team of professionals networked to all of the firm's resources. Kaufman, Rossin principals Steve Demar and John Anzivino will also serve a number of clients in the area.

"Our entry into Southwest Florida introduces an entirely new class of accounting firm into the market," said managing partner James R. Kaufman, in a statement. "Businesses in Fort Myers and Naples have had to choose between the personal service small local firms provide and the range of technical expertise high-priced out-of town firms offer. "Individuals with complex tax planning and estate needs have faced the same dilemma. As we've learned elsewhere in the state, clients are surprised and delighted that our firm can provide the complete package."

Ranked No. 61 on Accounting Today's 2006 Top 100 Firms, Kaufman, Rossin, & Co., generated revenues of $34.9 million. The firm maintains offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Fort Myers, Naples and the Cayman Islands and has more than 200 members.
