Carla Keegan, president and director of taxation services at Tucson accounting firm Keegan, Linscott & Kenon PC, will receive the Arizona Society of CPAs' annual Public Service Award at the society's annual meeting on May 11.
"Keegan was selected for her continued commitment to the community, playing a major role in helping more than 11 nonprofit organizations all while working as a director of a 48-person accounting firm," the society noted.
Keegan began her volunteerism efforts as a middle-school student coordinating talent shows for donations to charity. More recently, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Community Food Bank and Angel Charity for Children Inc.
