KPMG and CaseWare Seal Partnership

Toronto (Sept. 15, 2004) — Big Four firm KPMG has sealed a vendor partnership with data analysis software provider CaseWare IDEA to supply some 6,000 IDA licenses to KPMG member firms.

Terms were not disclosed.

CaseWare’s proprietary IDEA allows end-users to read, display, analyze, manipulate, sample or extract data files from multiple sources, including reports printed to a file. 

“We are pleased that KPMG has chosen IDEA as a global tool,” said Bob Cuthbertson, chief operating officer of CaseWare IDEA Inc. in a statement. “We look forward to further collaboration with KPMG, providing support and maintenance as part of this contract.”
