KPMG International has appointed company veteran Mike Wareing as global chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1.
He will serve a four-year term.
Wareing currently serves as chief executive of KPMG's Europe, Middle East and Africa region. As global chief executive, Wareing will succeed 36-year firm veteran Robert W. Alspaugh, whose term is expiring and who plans to retire.
