LarsonAllen Merges in Cronstrom Osuch

Accounting firm LarsonAllen has expanded its presence in Arizona by combining with Scottsdale-based Cronstrom, Osuch & Co.

The merger took effect Monday. Cronstrom specializes in auditing services for nonprofit organizations, governmental entities and school systems. Minneapolis-based LarsonAllen has a similar industry focus and also provides tax and consulting services in these areas.

“By joining LarsonAllen, we will be able to offer our clients a wider range of services including benefits, information security, and valuation and forensic,” said Cronstrom Osuch founding principal Sandy Cronstrom in a statement.

LarsonAllen first entered the Arizona market in 2005 and has continued to grow its presence in the area. Cronstrom Osuch brings 14 professionals to LarsonAllen and moved into the firm’s Mesa offices on June 1. Financial details of the merger were not disclosed.

LarsonAllen merged last month with another firm, Frank Consulting, of Medina, Minn., which specializes in accounting outsourcing services, including CFO and controller services, bookkeeping, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and internal audit support.

In addition to the two mergers, LarsonAllen has also recently redesigned its web site to make it more interactive. The new site, at www.larsonallen.com, provides an enhanced search engine, a resource center, video and audio. The firm ranked nineteenth on Accounting Today's 2009 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $201 million in revenue.
