Leading Edge Alliance Expands to 40 Firms

Chicago (Dec. 18, 2003) — The Leading Edge Alliance, a Chicago-based association of independent CPA firms has added two new firms to its fold, bringing the group’s membership to 40 firms.

The latest members to join The Leading Edge are H.W. Fisher & Co., a London-based firm with one office, 24 partners, 285 total employees and fiscal 2003 revenues of $25.8 million and Honolulu-based KMH LLP with five partners and 60 total employees. Including H.W. Fisher & Co. and KMH, The Leading Edge Alliance member firms account for a total of more than $650 million in revenue and more than 4,000 staff.

H.W. Fisher & Co., which ranks among the top 25 Chartered Accounting Firms in the U.K., specializes in the aviation, entertainment, professional practice and healthcare industries. The firm offers consulting services in corporate finance, information technology, property and financial services through The Fisher Organization.

KMH LLP was founded just over 16 months ago by Randy Karns, Ross Murakami and Peter Hanashiro, who formed the firm to assume the ownership of the operations of Arthur Andersen’s Honolulu office.
