Lumsden & McCormick Promotes Two to Principal

Sarah Hopkins and Seth Hennard have been promoted to principals at Lumsden & McCormick LLP.

[IMGCAP(1)] Hopkins has extensive expertise working with tax-exempt organizations in the areas of auditing, single audits, taxation, grant compliance, and financial reporting. She has been with the firm since 2005 after completing a tax internship and graduating from Daemen College.

Hopkins currently oversees the audit fieldwork for several public and private foundations, private educational institutions, charter schools, and public charities. She is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA and is an active member of the not-for profit committee of the Buffalo Chapter of the NYSSCPA serving as Chair.

Seth Hennard is a seasoned accounting professional with more than ten years’ experience in service to exempt organizations including governmental entities and nonprofit organizations.

[IMGCAP(2)] Hennard has extensive knowledge in auditing and reporting in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. He is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPA, and the Association of Government Accountants. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
