McCarthy, Rose & Mills Merges in John F. White
Details: McCarthy, Rose & Mills has merged in John F. White, PC, a CPA and wealth management practice, and is relocating to Frisco, Texas.

The merger is effective immediately, and the combined firm will operate under MRM’s name.

“We immediately realized that our cultures were a perfect fit,” said MRM partner Brett E. Mills in a statement. “Expanding our services into wealth management allows us to provide our clients with a more robust advisory offering. It is a natural expansion of our accounting, assurance, tax, and consulting practice.”

John F. White began his practice in 1975 in Plano, Texas. He primarily serves the retail, wholesale, legal, financial, plan administrators, manufacturing, restaurant, and health care industries by providing tax, accounting, back-office support and wealth management services to clients.

“In today’s world of constantly changing tax regulations and technological requirements, we are excited to merge with a firm that is an industry leader,” said White.

In addition to this merger, MRM is relocating its office to the “5 Billion Dollar Mile,” an area in Frisco, Texas that is experiencing a large influx of corporate relocations.  In recent months, Toyota, FedEx, J.P. Morgan Chase, Liberty Mutual, and the Dallas Cowboys have announced plans to move to the area. MRM’s Frisco office will open in the first quarter of next year.

“Our firm has served clients in Dallas and North Texas for 50 years, and we look forward to continue doing so for the next 50 years,” said MRM managing partner John B. Mills, Jr. “Relocating to such an exciting community is in alignment with our firm’s growth goals, as well as our desire to provide a great ‘live, work, play’ environment for our employees.”
