Deloitte acquires TMA Construction Consultants
Details: Deloitte has added TMA Construction Consultants to its financial advisory services group. TMA provides consulting services in the construction industry, primarily focusing on industrial, infrastructure and institutional projects. The new addition will bolster Deloitte's infrastructure and capital projects expertise throughout Canada.
Lorna Tardif and Maged Abdelsayed, principals at TMA Construction Consultants, will join Deloitte as partners.

O'Connor Davies expands in Jersey
Details: New York-based Top 100 Firm O'Connor Davies LLP and Fazio, Mannuzza, Roche, Tankel, LaPilusa LLC have agreed to merge. The combination is set to go into effect Jan. 1, 2014, and will operate under the O'Connor Davies name. With offices in Paramus and Cranford, the merger will significantly increase O'Connor's presence throughout New Jersey. The firm will now have close to 500 employees, 80 partners and combined revenues of roughly $100 million.

WTP and Boucher Stickley merge
Details: WTP Advisors has merged with the forensic accounting and litigation firm Boucher Stickley Group. BSG will become the forensic accounting practice area at WTP Advisors.
Sax Macy and Bollam Sheedy merge
Details: Sax Macy Fromm & Co. PC of Clifton, N.J., and Bollam, Sheedy, Torani, & Co. LLP, headquartered in Albany, N.Y., agreed to merge. The combination is expected to be finalized by Jan. 1, 2014, and will take on the name SaxBST. SaxBST will maintain offices in Clifton, N.J.; Albany, N.Y.; New York City; and Mineola, N.Y. The two are expected to generate more than $45 million in combined annual billings. "Each firm features some service offerings that the other does not, further contributing to the synergy of this merger," managing partner Robert Paz said in a statement.
