Details: KPMG has completed the acquisition of Baltimore-based Cynergy Systems. The new addition bolsters the Big Four firm's digital and mobile technology offerings. Cynergy is a mobility services business and digital experience company specializing in strategy, design and development in mobile, Web and desktop.

PwC US completes acquisition of Minnesota Privacy Consultants
Details: PwC US has officially acquired the assets of Minnesota Privacy Consultants, including the company's privacy professionals and network.
MPC helps multinational corporations, government agencies, universities and nonprofits find their sensitive data, classify it, control it and systematically retire it. MPC specializes in privacy compliance, which includes health care and cloud computing.

Walsh & Borresen merges with WithumSmith+Brown
Details: Walsh & Borresen LLC has combined its practice with Top 100 Firm WithumSmith+Brown PC. The merger, which went into effect on March 1, added 10 professionals to WS+B's roster, who will relocate in the Spring to WS+B's offices in Morristown, N.J.

Marcum Search acquires ProSearch
Details: Marcum Search LLC, the executive recruiting affiliate of Top 100 Firm Marcum LLP, has acquired the Melville, N.Y.-based full-service staffing firm ProSearch Inc. Founded in 2001, ProSearch specializes in executive recruiting for top-tier industry leaders. ProSearch complements Marcum Search's staffing and account management capabilities for the accounting and finance, legal services, technology, administrative and executive staffing, and manufacturing/consumer packaged goods industries. ProSearch president Stephanie Oleaga joins Marcum Search as executive vice president in the Melville office.
In addition, Marcum has added Thomas E. Finn PC to its New England regional practice. Thomas Finn and Ari Manula have joined the firm as partners.

Sikich expands its information security practice with 403 Labs
Details: Top 100 Firm Sikich LLP has merged with 403 Labs, a Brookfield, Wis.-based information security consultancy.
With this merger, Sikich will develop its information security practice with 403 Labs' resources and talent, specializing in areas ranging from compliance audits and computer security assessments to penetration tests and computer forensic investigations. Sikich will also add 403 Labs' San Francisco office, which becomes the firm's second western location after the recent acquisition of a Denver office through a previous merger.
Founder and principal of 403 Labs D.J. Vogel will join the team as partner, security and compliance practice leader.
The team originally based in the 403 Labs Wisconsin headquarters will move into Sikich's Milwaukee office.
