Massey Consulting Launches Social Media Webcast Series for CPAs

Microsoft Dynamics and Intacct partner Massey Consulting will be launching an educational webcast series aimed at helping CPAs to better utilize social media.

Entitled "CPAs and Social Media," the series will be presented by marketing strategist Dawn Westerberg, who will showcase how social media can benefit CPA firms and sole practitioners in much the same way that networking and word of mouth referrals can benefit business development. The session will also provide advice on how to enhance online presence with clients, prospective clients and professional associates using social media sites such as Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

“We do not compete with CPAs, but rather compliment the services they provide their clients,” said Massey Consulting principal and CPA Philip Massey “In sponsoring these educational sessions, we want to help CPAs become more familiar with the latest technological tools and platforms.”

The session, which is eligible for CPE credit, will kick off on Thursday, December 20 at 2 p.m. EST. There are eight sessions currently planned for 2013, with a goal of one session per month.
