Melanson Heath, a New England regional CPA firm, has added LaPointe, Torrisi, Stanley & Co., PC and LTS’s affiliate J.C. Driscoll & Co., CPAs, LLC, effective July 1.
The firms have combined to become the largest New Hampshire-based CPA firm, expanding MH’s regional presence. Melanson Heath also has offices in Massachusetts and Maine.
The combination coincides with Melanson Heath’s 40th anniversary. MH offers tax, audit, assurance, business valuation and forensic accounting services. As part of the merger, LTS will relocate its Bedford office to MH’s office in Manchester, N.H., while LTS’s North Andover office will move to MH’s Andover office.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Melanson Heath’s annual revenue was $12.8 million, while LTS’s was $2.7 million. They are expected to have combined annual revenue of $15.5 million.
Melanson Heath has 12 principals and 70 staff members, not including administrative staff. LTS has two principals and 13 staff, not including admin staff. The combined firm has 14 principals and 83 staff members, not including admin staff.
