Beth Mercier, managing principal of Las Vegas-based CPA firm Lentz & Mercier, has been named managing principal of Boulder City firm Ross Wright Accountancy, which was acquired by L&M's parent company, Summit Consultancy Group, last November.
A CPA with 13 years of experience, including a strong focus on nonprofit accounting, Mercier will oversee both the Las Vegas and the Boulder City offices. She holds a BS in Accounting from Youngstown State.
RWA has served Boulder City and rural Nevada for over 20 years. Its previous owner, enrolled agent Ross Wright, wanted to retire, and spent two years looking for the right firm to sell his practice to before deciding on Summit. Office manager and bookkeeper Susan Conte, who has been with RWA for 15 years, has remained with the firm.
Both RWA and L&M are full-service accounting firms, offering accounting, bookkeeping, tax compliance and planning, and other services. There are five total staff in Boulder City, and six in Las Vegas; both offices maintain relationships with teams of independent contractors to handle larger projects.
