Billing and compensation software provider MetraTech Corp. has released MetraNet 6.5, with new features to aid users in the communications service provider, financial and cloud services industries.
Key features include detailed control over business process scheduling; improved configuration options; and an enhanced report management framework to facilitate creating, managing, and scheduling reports to better utilize billing data. The new version also offers improved export of billing data to business intelligence, accounts receivable and general ledger systems; support for 10-digit scale and 22-digit precision of numeric data types system-wide; billing management across the global enterprise; and enhanced auditing for accounts, subscriptions and product offers.
In addition, MetraNet 6.5 offers a new Web service that meters usage data in the system, delivers batch management of file transfers, and diagnoses and troubleshoots system configuration and installation errors.
