Michigan Firm Opens Chinese Business Site

Accounting firm Clayton & McKervey has opened a Chinese Web site to attract Chinese businesses expanding to the United States.

The Southfield, Mich.-based firm opened the site to offer help to Chinese companies through the Chinese-speaking accountants and business advisors on its staff. The firm is a member of the PKF International network of accounting firms, which provides worldwide reach.

The firm offers start-up services for Chinese businesses such as initial tax filings and computer hardware and software selection, as well as ongoing services such as bookkeeping functions and payroll preparation. Fiscal year-end services include tax planning minimization and deferral strategies and representation with city, state and federal tax authorities.
