Mass. Society of CPAs names 2021 Women to Watch

The Massachusetts Society of CPAs, in partnership with the AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee, announced the seven recipients of its 2021 Women to Watch Awards.

The annual award recognizes professionals who have made "outstanding contributions to the accounting profession, their communities, their firms or companies and to the development of women as leaders." Award winners will be honored on Oct. 28 at the MSCPA’s Women’s Leadership Summit in Boston.

A panel of judges selected four Emerging Leaders (with 15 years of experience or less) and three Experienced Leaders (with more than 15 years of experience) in all.

“The MSCPA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of these remarkable women, and we are thrilled to honor them for their exceptional contributions to their peers, their communities and the accounting profession,” said society president and CEO Amy Pitter, in a statement.

The 2021 Women to Watch Award winners are (in alphabetical order): 

Emerging Leaders

  • Hillary Caplan, assurance manager, CohnReznick;
  • Shanikwa Davis, senior tax advisor and principal, S. Davis Tax Consultants;
  • Meredith Fuller, senior manager, Baker Newman Noyes; and,
  • Krista Huebner,  senior manager, EY.

Experienced Leaders

  • Erin Coco, audit shareholder, Tonneson + Co.;
  • Donna Roundy, senior manager, Meyers Brothers Kalicka; and,
  • Leanne Scott, senior manager, Baker Newman Noyes.
