MyCPE One launches web development service

Continuing professional education platform MyCPE One has introduced a website development service designed specifically for CPA and accounting firms versus general business templates. Each website is created with accounting-specific workflows in mind, including service presentation, client navigation, lead generation and regulatory considerations.

A MyCPE One spokesperson said that while continuing education has always been a core part of the company's business, it has also been assisting firms with their offshoring and outsourcing needs for over a decade. This has given MyCPE One a good view of the day-to-day life in accounting firms, including their tech frustrations. The spokesperson said the company consistently heard the same questions from clients who were looking for practical, execution-focused help from a partner who already understood how the profession works.

"That insight led us to expand into web development and digital services. Our goal was to build a complete ecosystem for CPA and accounting firms, where education, offshoring and marketing all work together. By doing this, firms can access everything they need under one roof, through one trusted brand that already understands their unique challenges and regulatory requirements," said the spokesperson in an email.

Firms select from over 400 design frameworks that can be adapted to their specific brands, and can go live within 72 hours. Layouts are designed to work across different devices, especially mobile. The frameworks feature custom-built content structures aligned with accounting services, PCI-ready payment integration to support secure online transactions, and built-in compliance tooling to help firms meet industry standards. When asked for an example of a built-in compliance tool, the spokesperson said the company used CookieYes to manage cookies and user consent.

As opposed to DIY platforms, MyCPE One envisions this as more of a managed service. Firms will provide MyCPE One a list of services, practical areas and industries served, as well as their logo, branding preferences and color scheme. From there, the company will provide a custom website as well as content writing, blog creation and setup, technical guides and e-books for SEO and AI discovery, tax resources and client center setups, SSL certification, PCI-DSS compliance configurations, chatbot integration, hosting and performance optimization, website maintenance and uptime monitoring, Google analytics and reporting integration, lead form setups, video conference setup, social media and external link integration, and email setup. In the long term, firms will be supported by a dedicated webmaster who will handle updates, changes and maintenance without needing to pull internal teams away from their ongoing work.

The spokesperson said the new offering represents a completely separate business division with a dedicated team devoted specifically to web development and digital services. MyCPE One has hired specialized professionals like web developers, dedicated webmasters, content writers, graphic designers and video editors. Their sole focus is digital execution and ongoing site management.

Websites developed by the company also come with an AI-powered chatbot that helps with basic inquiries and lead capture; a tax center and financial calculators to provide value to visitors; and backend tools designed to support content updates and performance tracking. The spokesperson said each chatbot is customized and trained specifically for the individual firm, with the mode learning directly from the content on the firm's website, firm-specific services, messaging, FAQs, ongoing visitor interactions and real user questions. Additionally, the backend knowledge base is updated regularly for accuracy and relevance. This allows the chatbot to provide firm-specific, contextual responses, rather than generic or templated answers

Users can test the platform during a 60-day free trial without long-term commitments.

The announcement comes shortly after the company unveiled a new skills assessment platform with an AI-powered anti-cheating monitor.
