NSA names new leadership

The National Society of Accountants has elected Joel Grandon, Curtis Lee and Marchelle Foshee to the society’s executive committee.

The announcement came at the NSA 74th Annual Convention late last month in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Grandon, of Joel Grandon Accounting Services Inc. in Marion, Iowa, was elected president of NSA. In addition to holding several society positions in the past several years, Grandon currently serves on the Accountants Association of Iowa board as treasurer and has served in each line officer position including AAI president from 2004-2005. He is a licensed public accountant in Iowa as well as an Enrolled Agent, and he holds the Accredited Retirement Advisor credential.

Lee, ATA, ATP, of C.B. Lee & Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina, was elected first vice president. He has been an NSA member for more than 28 years and has served in numerous positions in the organization. He won the NSA Distinguished Service Award in 2011 and the State Director of the Year Award in 2015.

Marchelle Foshee, CPA, of Morrilton, Arkansas, was elected second vice president. She has served the society in many roles over her 14 fourteen years of membership. She is also serving on the board of the NSA Scholarship Foundation
