NATP to hold first ‘Taxposium’ this summer

Industry updates, technology, trends and pricing strategies will be among the topics at the first “Taxposium” event from the National Association of Tax Professionals, held this July 25-28 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The event will feature 50 sessions by more than 30 industry speakers. There will also be more than 40 exhibitors.

Sessions will also include such themes as marketing, leadership and “future-proofing” a team. Other sessions will cover crypto, retirement planning, women and the Great Resignation, subscription models, depreciation, cannabis and, appropriately for the location, gambling tax issues, among other topics. CPE is available.

“We designed the Taxposium to be a one-of-a-kind event that meets the evolving needs of tax preparers in this ever-changing environment,” said Caroline Smith, NATP’s director of professional development, in a statement.

Registration is currently open. Questions can be directed to Nancy Kasten at nkasten@natptax.com. Industry-related vendors interested in attending can email strategicrelations@natptax.com for exhibition opportunities.
