Net@Work Acquires Litchtman Information Systems

New York (July 7, 2004) -- Best reseller Net@Work has acquired fellow reseller Lichtman Information Systems based in Long Island.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Net@Work specializes in accounting and business management solutions, and partners with the likes of Microsoft, Accpac, Best Software and Citrix.

Shimon Lichtman, founder and president of Lichtman Information Systems, has joined the Net@Work team as a senior member of its sales team. Three other Lichtman employees will join Net@Work.

As an Accpac software consultant and reseller, “Lichtman is a great fit for a number of reasons. They carry Accpac Pro Series, which is our first product, they have the same territory, and they have very, very loyal customers that are asking for additional services that we can provide, such as network, Web, document imaging and upgrading them to other Best products like MAS500,” Edward Solomon, co-founder and president of Net@Work, told WebCPA.

Best Software recognized Net@Work for its Business Partner of the Year for its Accpac product line. The company has been honored as an Accpac Top Worldwide reseller for six consecutive years.
