NetSuite Inc., an on-demand business software provider for small- and midsized businesses, unveiled new features for its CRM application, CRM+. The new features are a part of the incentive compensation add-on module, and will allow a user to track multiple quotas, forecasts and commission plans, and apply them against additional metrics.

"This announcement marks the death of the Excel forecast," said Zach Nelson, chief executive officer of NetSuite, in a statement. "Simple, single-metric quotas and forecasts are rare in any sized business, but the sales force automation tools offered -- both on premise and hosted -- can't handle this basic requirement."

Nelson added, "As a result, most forecasting and commissions happen in Excel, not the SFA tool. Because NetSuite CRM+ captures the actual sales transactions in the form of an order, that order can now be sliced and applied against multiple quotas, forecasts and commissions schedules automatically. No more Excel."

Available immediately for NetSuite and NetSuite CRM+ users, theiIncentive compensation module is an additional monthly charge of $199.For more information on the new features, visit www.netsuite.com/crm+.
