NetSuite Expands Sales Management Force

San Mateo, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2004) -- Online accounting and business management product maker NetSuite Inc. is expanding its sales management team with the addition of Michael Williams as senior vice president of worldwide sales and James Ramsey as vice president of small and medium business sales.

Williams will oversee the direct and channel sales teams to further grow the company’s revenues and broaden the distribution of product offerings, including NetSuite, Oracle Small Business Suite, NetERP and NetCRM. Prior to joining NetSuite, Williams served as senior vice president of Exodus Communications (now a part of Cable & Wireless), where he helped increase sales to $300 million from nothing in four years, grow the sales organization from three executives to 175, add more than 2,000 new customers over a four-year period, and tripled the average annual revenue per customer.

With 10 years of high tech sales experience, Ramsey will head up NetSuite’s small and medium business sales initiative to increase sales of its products. Ramsey joins the firm from Oracle Corp., where he created and directed many sales organizations, including the group that managed all mid-market sales to the central U.S. and Canada.
