San Mateo, Calif. (April 12, 2004) -- Online accounting and business management product maker NetSuite is now guaranteeing 99.5 percent uptime for its Web-based business applications, including NetSuite, NetERP, NetCRM and Oracle Small Business Suite.
Under the terms of the guarantee, NetSuite customers will receive a credit for that month's service if the vendor fails to deliver 99.5 percent uptime performance. Uptime is measured on a customer-by-customer basis, rather than on a contract-by-contract basis. As specified in NetSuite's new standard license agreement, the guarantee covers the entire Monday-through-Friday period (Eastern Standard Time) and all but a few late night/early morning weekend hours that are reserved for maintenance.
