NetSuite Inc., an on-demand business management software developer, unveiled their new release yesterday -- NetSuite Version 10.6.
With NetSuite 10.6, users can change data without refreshing the browser page, extend NetSuite with any application, and integrate with applications like Microsoft Office and Google Maps.
A new asynchronous JavaScript and XML dashboard within the newest NetSuite version allows users to change data without regenerating the entire HTML page; update the dashboard's data without drilling into specific information like calls the user needs to make that day; repopulate forms from a master list; and more.
New visualization and alerting technologies like graphical key performance indicator meter gauges and trend graph average comparisons are also available in 10.6, along with new customization tools for the NetFlex solution.
NetSuite 10.6 also added new ways to integrate with Microsoft's Excel and Outlook though the Microsoft Excel Web Query, which improves data transfer and analysis capabilities and Outlook-specific integration with patent-pending no-click e-mail integration. Now incoming and outgoing Microsoft Outlook e-mail messages can be directly attached to NetSuite records throughout the customer lifecycle, including contacts, customers, opportunities and cases.
