NetSuite Tries to Lure MS Resellers

In an effort to spin Microsoft resellers into NetSuite solution providers, NetSuite, an on-demand business applications provider, is offering discounts, free training, and higher margins for qualified Microsoft resellers to sell NetSuite products.

NetSuite is offering MS resellers a 35 percent margin on sales of NetSuite products, a 50 percent discount on NetSuite for internal use, and free sales training for up to five people. The resellers do not need to stop selling Microsoft products to join the program.

A handful of MS resellers have already signed up with NetSuite as a part of the discounted provider program: Nolan Computers, a Great Plains reseller located in Fleet, Hampshire (U.K.); Altico Advisors, a Marlborough, Mass.-based mid-market business consulting and software implementation group; Premier Computing Technologies, a Great Plains reseller in Salt Lake City; Roux Business Systems LLC, a consulting firm based in Baton Rouge, La.; and, VAR2 LLC, a Beaverton, Ore.-based Microsoft Solomon reseller.
