New England Firm Appoints New Leader

Regional accounting firm Baker Newman & Noyes has named a new managing principal, Charles F. Hahn.

He took over the top spot from Eleanor Baker, who had been in charge of the firm since 2003. She will return to a full-time role serving tax clients and helping develop new talent at the firm.

Hahn (pictured) has been director of tax services and will continue as a member of the firm's management committee. Michael F. Stillings will replace him as director of tax services.

"Ellie's leadership and vision have been critical to the success of BNN and our position as the leading accounting firm in northern New England," said Hahn in a statement. "The firm has grown significantly over the last five years through Ellie's focus on our people, unparalleled client service and continuous improvement of our service approach."
