HP and the Neat Company unveiled a new HP Officejet printer with a built-in Neat cloud-based Smart Organization System for home and small offices.

The HP Officejet 8040 with Neat e-All-in-One offers the features of an HP e-All-in-One printer with the functionality of Neat software to digitize, organize, store and access files on most mobile devices.

With the added system, users of the printer can capture and organize receipts, business cards and other documents, with files safeguarded and data available for keyword searches and easily exported to applications like Excel, Quicken and TurboTax.

“The announcement of this alliance between HP and Neat represents the combined commitment to providing our customers with ‘a best of both worlds’ hardware and software solution,” stated Neat CEO Ron Kaiser.

The HP Officejet 8040 with Neat e-All-in-One printer is available in the United States for a starting price of $399.
