New Mobile App for Tax and Accounting Research

Online accounting industry directory CPAdirectory.com has launched Ask a CPA, a free iPhone and iPad app designed to help consumers, businesses, and accounting and tax professionals with relevant tax and accounting related research and questions.

Featuring the answers to more than 2,500 tax and accounting questions, users of the app can choose a category and search for the answer to their question in the CPA archive. Users also have the option to enter their question to be sent directly to a local CPA who will answer it for free within 24 hours. The question and its answer will then be added to the CPA archive for future inquiries.

In addition, those who have more specific tax or accounting needs can use the app to search for area CPAs by zip code.

“There is always a lot of confusion when it comes to filing taxes, and many small businesses and individuals have the same unanswered questions year after year,” said CPAdirectory.com president and founder Michael Rosedale. “We created Ask a CPA to give users free access to the answers of the most commonly asked questions all year long, as well as the option to get direct answers from local CPAs within 24 hours for free.”

The Ask a CPA app is available for free download and use for iPhones and iPads from the Apple App store.
