Alex Zhang has been promoted to managing director of UHY Advisors and partner of UHY LLP.
Based in Albany, Zhang will continue to work with clients doing business in China, where he was born, went to university, and began his accounting career.

As a key member of UHY Advisors' China Group, Zhang helps Chinese companies convert their financial reporting to U.S. standards, and provides attest and financial reporting services for U.S. multinational companies. He also serves the audit and financial reporting needs of higher education, government and not-for-profit entities throughout New York State.
Zhang holds an MS from the University at Albany, and both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees from Beijing Normal University in China.
