New Updates to QuickBooks Online Include Inventory Bundles

Intuit has released a number of updates to its QuickBooks Online, including inventory bundles, email updates and bank transfer payments.

With the new inventory bundles, users can group products and services into a bundle and add multiple items to a transaction. Bundles can be further customized by adding an unlimited amount of items, assigning names, inputting SKUs and entering sales information. QuickBooks will also support the migration of group items from the desktop edition to QBO.

With email updates, users can now CC and BCC multiple email addresses when sending invoices. Also, purchase orders now have a messaging section, allowing users to customize the accompanying default message.

In addition, QuickBooks Online Plus now offers purchase order updates. Users can copy the estimate directly into a purchase order to automatically purchase out of stock inventory.

Reports have been redesigned so that users can generate 10 new ready-to-use reports, including balance sheet detail and open invoice reports. The accounting method, date, number format, rows and columns, filters and headers/footer can be customized.

Among the other recent enhancements are a new workflow and user interface in the Budgets feature; improvements to accepting ACH/bank transfers; and the ability in Payroll to delete and void paychecks regardless of date.
