NexVue Spins Off Software Unit

NexVue Information Systems, a provider of financial and business intelligence software for the mid-market, has spun off its software development unit and named company veteran John French as its chief software architect.

French will lead development operations at the unit, which has been christened BIO Analytics Corp. and will report to NexVue founder Dan Schwartz.

French’s resumé includes project development for companies such as Compaq, Bankers Trust and Grand Metropolitan.

Recently, Microsoft signed an agreement to market and distribute BIO for its Dynamics SL accounting platform for mid-market companies. The product, an interactive reporting and analysis solution that fuses operations and finance data, will be sold under the name BIO for Microsoft Dynamics SL.
