The former presidents of Hunter Group CPA were honored for their leadership roles during the firm’s 60th anniversary ceremonial dinner by the Bergen Chapter of the NJSCPA.
The Bergen Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants honored past presidents of Hunter Group CPA LLC at their 60th anniversary dinner.
“It is truly an honor to be a part of the legacy of leadership that the state society inspires,” Hunter Group’s director Leonard Manis said in a statement. “I think it is very important for young CPAs to understand the value of leadership and how it can impact the profession and their future.”
Since its inception in 1954, the Bergen Chapter has seen several presidents from Hunter Group. Manis served as president in 1991. Preceding him is retired member Michael Gould in 1976, Former managing partner Lawrence Cinquegrana in 1971; retired member John Eccleston in 1968 and the late Robert Hunter who served in 1961.
“We are proud to be a piece of the Bergen Chapter of the NJSCPA’s heritage of leadership,” Frank Pawlowski, co-managing director of Hunter Group added in the statement.
Hunter Group provides services to closely-held, small to middle-market businesses that are entrepreneurially-managed or family operated enterprises. Established in 1956 in Paramus, N.J. as RD Hunter & Co., the firm provides bookkeeping, tax preparation and auditing services, as well as accounting and consulting on a wide range of financial issues. It also conducts audit services for non-profit organizations as well as audits for benefit plans, including 401 (k) plans.
