Accounting firm Rives & Associates has merged in Allen & Woodall, another firm in North Carolina.
The combined entity will be known as Rives & Associates. It will include 50 professional and administrative staff with offices in Raleigh, Lexington and Charlotte, N.C.
Allen & Woodall has been providing taxation and accounting services in the Raleigh area for 20 years. Rives & Associates has serviced commercial, governmental, and nonprofit organizations for over 28 years.
"We had a desire to expand our resources and services to Raleigh and eastern North Carolina," said Rives & Associates partner Leon L. Rives II (pictured) in a statement. "Allen & Woodall LLP has distinguished itself in the region and we were pleased to find that our firms share values and visions of quality and personal service."
Len Woodall and Felix Allen will lead the Raleigh office of Rives & Associates and serve clients in the Raleigh area. Through the merger these clients will now have access to expanded accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services.
