NYSSCPA to Hold Auditing Conference

The New York State Society of CPAs and its Foundation for Accounting Education plan to hold an auditing conference on Oct. 27.

Former SEC chief accountant Lynn Turner, a member of the Treasury Department’s Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession who was the only member to vote against approving the committee’s final report, and Thomas Ray, chief auditor and director of professional standards at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, are keynote speakers.

The conference will be held at the FAE Conference Center, 3 Park Avenue at 34th Street, 19th Floor, New York City.  For further information and to register, visit the NYSSCPA Web site, www.nysscpa.org, and go to Continuing Education, FAE Conferences.
