North 40 Systems has released the latest version of its Office Tools Pro practice management program for accounting professionals.
In addition to contact management, time and billing, scheduling, document management, due date reporting and project tracking, new features in the 2005 edition include an office messenger program, pop-up reminder and call dispatch features, and enhanced document management.
The call dispatch enables users to send a call record without interrupting staff. It also offers instant notification to the designated staff member, allowing the recipient to message back with acceptance or rejection of the call to the sender.
Meanwhile, Office Tools Pro's document management module now includes a drop folder for adding documents, as well as enhanced filtering capabilities, image rotation, PDF support, work checkpoints with staff initials, and a complete document history.
Office Tools Pro 2005 starts at $299 per user.
