Office Tools Professional has introduced two Client Portal products.
The products allow for secure encrypted data transfers between an accountant and a client. Data can be sent directly from the company’s practice management software to the portal. Clients are sent an email link with login information for downloading the file. They can log in directly from the firm’s Web site, or from a firm-branded portal, and upload nearly any file to their accountant.
Office Tools Professional offers both a full Client Portal, and a Client Portal Lite. The Client Portal Lite provides only file transfer capability, while the Client Portal includes many built-in features. Firms can send messages to clients, do email campaigns, and have clients pay their invoice balances directly from the portal. Other features include project status updates, and due date and estimate reminders.
Prices start at $320 per year for unlimited clients, and 5 gigabytes of file transfers each month.
