WebCPA presents a free online session discussing various facets of philanthropy and its potential benefits for accountants.

Ben L. Schaub, CEO, president and founder of The American Foundation, discusses charitable giving and believes that with the projected growth in philanthropy, CPAs should seize the day. Moderating the discussion is Stuart Kahan, executive editor of Accountants Media Group.

Topics on the agenda include family foundation planning and how it can reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes, estate taxes, gift taxes and income taxes. Schaub also discusses family foundation income trusts, wealth replacement, charitable remainder trusts, and the new philanthropic cooperative.
