Mid-market accounting software provider Open Systems Inc. has named former MIP executive Linda Shillingburg as director of business development for not-for-profits, effective immediately.
In her new role, Shillingburg will be responsible for recruiting and developing a reseller channel for the Traverse not-for-profit product.
A 16-year veteran of the accounting software market, she comes aboard at Open Systems from nonprofit concern MIP - a division of Best Software, where she served as manager of partner recruiting and vice president of sales.
"She will work with our business development team and partners to enhance the Traverse NFP feature set, to determine niches and to develop strategic marketing campaigns," said Open Systems president Michael Bertini.
