Open Systems Expands Offices through VAR Acquisition

Open-source accounting and enterprise resource planning software developer Open Systems Inc. has acquired its longtime reseller InterMicro, effectively retaining all of its staff and two offices in Greenville, S.C., and Edmond, Okla.

“We’re very pleased to welcome…the InterMicro team into the Open Systems family,” said Open Systems chief executive Dr. Michael Bertini. “We all sought this merger based on years of working together to mutual advantage, and the benefits will be quickly realized by users of our Traverse and OSAS software.”

Founded in 1993, InterMicro had earned a position of Top 5 Open Systems selling partner for the past two years and Top 25 for the past nine years.

“This next phase of our longstanding relationship with Open Systems gives our customers, our team and Open Systems access to a stronger network of technology and service resources,” said InterMicro co-owner Jim Robinson.
