Paisley Consulting, a provider of business accountability software, revealed two online services this week for their compliance and risk management software - the Standard Hosting Model and the ASP Pricing Model.
"The hosted services model is an efficient way to use and implement today's complex n-tier applications," said Tim Welu, Paisley Consulting chief executive. "Hosting them in our controlled environment assures our clients of consistent performance and reliability."
The two models Web-enable already established Paisley products for their customers. The Standard Hosting Model offers either an individual server for the user, or a shared network environment protected by passwords, authority levels and other logical security tools, depending on the needs of the user, said Welu. The ASP model, however, only offers a shared environment with logical security separating each client's data.
Customers who purchase the Standard Hosting Model can purchase software licenses and then pay Paisley to host them on their servers. Pricing is based on the requirements of the environment and on the product used.
A one-time set-up free is required and can range anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000, depending on the product and environment. Both the ASP and Hosting models are paid per user per month, with a minimum of $5,000 a month for a standard number of users and memory. With the ASP model, however, there are no licensing or maintenance fees.
Both services are available through Paisley Consulting and only support Paisley's key products - Risk Navigator, AutoAudit, CARDmap and Focus.
