ParenteBeard Appoints Green as Tax Practice Leader in Philly Region

Julius Green, a partner at ParenteBeard, has been appointed tax practice leader in the firm’s Philadelphia region.

In his new role, Green will ensure tax quality control and build service teams with the audit practice to enhance client service.

Green has over 20 years of experience providing consultation on all tax compliance and consulting matters for nonprofit, healthcare, senior living services, higher education and membership organization clients. He also leads the firm’s exempt organization tax practice.

Green also serves as vice president for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has taken on several leadership roles within the organization. He served as the first chair of the organization’s diversity committee, leading them to create professional and workshop forums and a nationally regarded diversity whitepaper and toolkit for accounting firms. He also served as treasurer and liaison for the investment task force.

Green is a CPA in Pennsylvania and Maryland, and he holds a bachelor’s degree and master of business administration from University of Baltimore and a juris doctorate from the George Washington University National Law Center.
