Paull to Co-Head PwC National Tax Services

Washington (April 4, 2003) - Lindy Paull, former chief of staff of the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as co-managing partner of its Washington National Tax Services practice.  She will share leadership of WNTS with Robert Morris.

Paull will be responsible for the WNTS client services practice and will work closely with former House Ways and Means chairman Bill Archer, presently the senior policy advisor to PricewaterhouseCoopers.

"Ms. Paull's deep tax knowledge and her extensive experience on the Hill will be a tremendous asset to the firm, and more importantly, of great value to our clients," said Dennis Nally, chairman and senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

As chief of staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation, Paull oversaw a staff of 60, including tax lawyers, economists, accountants, and revenue estimators.  She has 17 years of congressional staff experience, including positions with the Republican staff of the Senate Committee on Finance, and has served as an attorney-advisor to a judge on the U.S. Tax Court.
