PayCycle Burnishes 2006 Payroll Service

PayCycle, an on-demand payroll service provider, unveiled a number of enhancements to its 2006 payroll service, which emphasizes branding, paperless tax filing and paystub viewing access.
The new upgrades allow accountants to brand each page of the Web sites their clients use in order to view their respective payrolls. E-mail reminders about payroll services such as pay day, when to pay taxes and file forms, can also be branded with the accountant's firm name or logo.

Two new paperless features involve e-filing, where accountants, or their clients, filing their state taxes in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Oregon can do so electronically, and pay stub retrieval -- where employees of clients can access their paystubs online.

A new setup wizard -- My Setup Wizard -- uses pre-filled screens and automatically customizes the set-up path for each client according to employment history and prior payroll methods.
