PCAOB Seeks Nominations for Advisory Group

Washington (Nov. 7, 2003) -- The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board is seeking nominations for members of a 25-member standing advisory group that would assist the oversight body with standard-setting responsibilities for auditing.

Dr. Douglas Carmichael, the board’s chief auditor and director of professional standards, will serve as the advisory group’s inaugural chairman. The group ideally would be comprised of members with expertise in a wide array of fields including accounting, auditing, corporate finance and corporate governance, and investing in public companies.

Members will be selected by the PCAOB based on nominations, including self-nominations. Nomination forms are available under Standards on the board’s Web site,www.pcaobus.org.

The deadline for submissions is Dec. 22, 2003.
