Irvine-based Haskell & White LLP has promoted nine staff members. Angela Behrens, Ryan Woodhouse and Matthias Weber were promoted to principals in the firm's tax department. Ian Martini was promoted to senior manager in the audit and business advisory services department. Ryan Maes was promoted to senior associate in the firm's audit and business advisory services department. Kari Walton and Glebb Popove were promoted to in-charge associates in the firm's audit and business advisory services department. Patrick Frake and Peter Pecer moved up to in-charge associates in the tax department. Tim Devoto has been promoted to partner at Gallina LLP in Roseville. Devoto initially joined the firm in 2010. Eric Jones has been promoted to office managing partner at CohnReznick's Sacramento office. Beth Mullen, who previously held this role will focus leading the firm's affordable housing industry practice. Mark Hooley has moved up to office managing partner in the firm's San Diego office. Hooley succeeds Wade McKnight, who is retiring after six years at the firm. Garrett Ushiyama is the newest partner at CohnReznick's Los Angeles office.
Robert Lund joins PwC's Denver office as a tax managing director and will lead the Rockies real estate tax team. In addition, Kathleen Machamer and Jill Kaplan join as tax directors and Beth Kroupa joins as a tax manager, also based in Denver.
Steven Buller, a managing director and former chief financial officer of BlackRock, Inc., has been appointed chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council. His term began on Feb. 1, 2014, and concludes on December 31, 2015. Jonathan Collett has been promoted to partner in CohnReznick's Glastonbury office where he will work in the firm's financial services industry practice.
Peter Gampel has joined Cherry Bekaert as a litigation support principal in the firm's South Florida office.

Fuad Saba has joined WTP Advisors where he will oversee the midwest regions international tax client services. Scott Stringer, a director of forensic litigation services at Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams Ltd, has been elected to the National Children's Cancer Society's Board of Directors. Jason Burlan is now a partner at CohnReznick's Chicago office.
Katz, Sapper & Miller has appointed new managers throughout the firm. The new members includes: Anne DeLaney, Neil Giannini, WIlliam Graff, Sarah Hammond, Eric Land, Braianne Lyons, Brittani Maletta, JP Moore, Aimee Reavling, Brittany Schutter, Clint Singleton and Ali Todd.
John Coppola has rejoined Ellin & Tucker as manager in the firm's accounting and auditing group. Prior to rejoining Ellin & Tucker, Coppola was the CFO and business manager at Archbishop Spalding High School. Anita Sheckells, a director at KatzAbosch, has been chosen as Woman of the Year by the Associated Builders and Contractors Baltimore Metro Chapter. Jim Martinko will serve as the sole office managing partner at CohnReznick's Bethesda office. David Kessler, who shared the role with Martinko, will now focus on leading the firm's commercial real estate industry practice. Ryan Henigan is now a partner in CohnReznick's Baltimore office. Ken Slater made partner in the firm's Bethesda office.
