The Financial Accounting Standards Board appointed new members to its task force and advisory groups. Alexander Corl has been appointed to the FASB’s Emerging Issues Task Force. Corl is the CFO and Treasurer of The Lee Company, a privately held manufacturing company based in Westbrook, Connecticut. There were six new members appointed to the Investors Technical Advisory Committee, including Frederick Cannon, Wallace Enman, Brian Foran, Jonathan Nus, Kevin W. Shea and David Trainer. Larry Probus has been appointed to the Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee. Jeffrey Rubin has been named the vice president and general counsel of the The Financial Accounting Foundation. Rubin will provide strategic legal advice and guidance to the FAF, which oversees the FASB and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.
