Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Humaid has been appointed to the Trustees of the IFRS Foundation, as a trustee of the IFRS Foundation.  Dr. Al-Humaid’s appointment will expire on Dec. 31, 2015 and will be renewable once for a three-year period.


John Greenwood and Hadley Chilton were appointed as liquidators at Baker Tilly Limited. The two will be liquidators of the Anchor Hedge Fund Limited, and three associated hedge funds incorporated in the BVI. … Kelley Wall and Stephen Ambler were promoted to directors at RoseRyan, Newark.

Stan Hales and Andy Martyn have joined Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Services Office Transfer Pricing practice. Hales and Martyn will provide clients with services relating to transfer pricing, controversy and tax-related valuation issues in the financial services industry. Prior to Ernst & Young Hales worked at PwC where led financial services transfer pricing on the West Coast. Martyn previously worked at Deloitte where he co-led its Global Financial Services Transfer Pricing practice. … Tom Solazzo has been named the U.S. Cleantech leader at PwC U.S. Solazzo succeeds Tim Carey in this role and also leads PwC's Management Consulting group in the Power and Utilities sector.


Clar Rosso has been named vice-president, member learning and competency of the American Institute of CPAs. As vice president, Rosso will oversee the institute’s publications, conferences and Web events, and professional development teams.
