The new members include, Chan Hon Chew, senior vice-president at Finance, Singapore Airlines Limited; Paul Lee Seng Meng, managing partner at RSM Chio Lim LLP; Lee Shi Ruh, CFO of Genting Singapore; Lee Wai Fai, Group CFO of UOB Group; Ong Pang Thye, head of audit at KPMG Singapore and Tan Khoon Guan, founder and director at K.G. Doug Thomas has been appointed as east regional tax leader at PwC US, Atlanta. Shelley Giberson succeeds Thomas as greater Atlanta tax leader. …Jamie See has joined UHY Advisors as staff consultant.
Duane Lisowski has been elected as a new director in the performance consulting division of Crowe Horwath LLP, Chicago. Andrew Schweik is the new director in the firm’s risk consulting unit in Oak Brook.
Sean Duffy has been elected as a new director at Crowe Horwath LLP, Fort Wayne.
Jeff Wald is the new CEO of Kennedy and Coe LLC, Salina. Wald succeeds Kurt Siemers who retired March 31 from his 42-year career with the firm, the last 10 of which he served as CEO.
Kaitlin DeMartin has been promoted to supervising senior in Baker Newman Noyes tax department in Boston.
Shakeenah Lloyd, Rebecca Macey, Scott McClay and Matthew Rambaran have joined Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co., of Cherry Hill and Hammonton, NJ, as full-time accountants.
Kevin Rhode has joined The Bonadio Group, Pittsford, as accountant in-charge for the commercial team. Prior to Bondadio, Rhode worked as an assurance associate at PwC LLP. Katie Dayton joined the firm as senior human resource specialist for the enterprise team. Dayton worked at Brown & Brown as an employee benefits consultant. … Doug Schrock has been promoted to managing partner in the manufacturing and distribution services division at Crowe Horwath LLP, New York. Joe Macina has joined the firm as partner in its audit services department. Prior to Crowe, Macina was a partner at KPMG. Steve Lalor has been elected as a new director in the firm’s tax divison.
John Richardson has been promoted to director in the risk advisory services group of Cherry Bekaert LLP, Raleigh.
Eide Bailly LLP, Fargo, adds nine staff members to its partnership throughout the firm. Those accepted into the partnership includes: Al Nolte, Ann Rockswold, Ava Archibald, Brian Bertsch, Chad Weber, Danny Bresnahan, Linda Albrecht, Janice Wilburn and Joe Splinter.
Tom Freeman has been named managing partner in Grant Thornton LLP Cleveland office. Freeman’s role will take effect on August 1, 2013. Freeman succeeds Dan Zittnan who will become the office managing partner of the firm’s Detroit, Michigan practice. The firm named Jeff Robinson leader of the Cleveland audit practice and Chad Davies as leader in its Cleveland Tax practice. … Matthew Hinder has joined Ciuni & Panichi Inc., as a staff accountant in the firm’s audit and accounting services department.
Kia Buckner has joined Heffler, Radetich & Saitta LLP, Philadelphia, as a principal. Buckner will be responsible for managing the firm’s audit department which will include coordinating the firm peer review and instituting and monitoring the quality control procedures and staffing for all attestation engagements. She will also play a key role in business development and strategic planning.
Rich Lockwood has joined Decosimo, Nashville, as an assurance principal.
Tom DeMetrovich has been elected as a new director at Crowe Horwath LLP, Dallas/Fort Worth.
C.E. Andrews has been appointed as the new CEO of MorganFranklin Consulting, Tysons Corner. Prior to his leadership role at MorganFranklin, Andrews was the president and COO of RSM McGladrey Inc. from June 2009 to March 2012. … Sam Nazzaro has joined PwC LLP as a director with the forensic services practice. Nazzaro joins PwC from the Department of Justice Criminal Division and assists global organizations, including those operating in emerging markets, to develop threat management capabilities.
Lewis H. Ferguson, board member of The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, has been elected chair of the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators.
Steve Thompson has been named the partner-in-charge of Wipfli LLP’s health care practice. Thompson suceeds Bob Parrish, who will be retiring after having led Wipfli’s health care industry practice for the past 15 years. In his new role, Thompson will be responsible for continuing to build the health care practice for the firm and leading Wipfli’s experienced health care team as they continue to serve organizations in the health care industry and provide them with insightful thought leadership and guidance.
