PitBullTax launches resolution courses, user conference

PitBullTax, an IRS tax-resolution software provider, has been accredited to offer IRS CPE through its PitBullTax University, and announced that it plans to hold its first user conference in May.

The company is offering discounts for early registration for the user conference, which will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., May 17-19.

Attendees will learn to recognize and evaluate various IRS problem scenarios and have software diagnose and prescribe the workflow required to prepare and present cases to the collection and appeals divisions of the IRS, according to Irina Bobrova, an Enrolled Agent and COO of PitBullTax.

“Our licensees will learn practical techniques [and] how to incorporate them and maximize our technology,” said Jose Alfaro, software developer and CTO of PitBullTax.

University material will cover the collection information statement, when each particular form is needed, and alternatives in resolving IRS problems, such as OICs, installment agreements, “Currently Not Collectible” status and innocent spouse, among others. Attendees will also cover how to effortlessly retrieve IRS transcripts through E-Services accounts and have the software prepare analytical reports.

PitBullTax University will also offer online webinars and self-study courses in various topics in IRS tax resolution specialty.
